Paul,
what are the Space uniforms next to the guy with the Space Ranger Tabbard on? Are they later space rangers?

Excellent pics Paul, and sad to hear the second best collection I've ever seen is going into storage (aires being obviously no 1!). Look forward to seeing the pics of version 2, once time and space allows.
In the meantime if storage becomes a real problem feel free to send your moc night patrol over to my place to be "looked after"!

Congratulations & condolances
It is a real pity to see another fine collection being sent to the attic. Paul, your intentions are good, but I have seen this happen a few times before. I hate to be realistic, but these are probabely the last pictures we will ever get to see of this collection.
When collectors become fathers:
- Bad -> Collections are being stored. Ten years later it is still in the attic as there is no time/space/money.
- Worse -> Collections are being sold. It hurts, but at least it goes to a nice home where it is appreciated the way it should be appreciated.
- Worst -> Kids find the stored collection and are allowed to play with it. The child is asked to be really gentle, but within a few days years of collecting is being reduced to worn out plastic.

KnOwing Paul, and his very understanding good lady, I'm sure he will buck the trend, and we shall see command centre mk2 eventually!
My missus uses the toy room like contraceptive - if we have kids it's to become the nursery. Needless to say, there's plenty of time for that in many years time, once we've got enough money for a bigger house!!!

Fear Not Niels!
I didn't go into this decomissioning of my Command Centre lightly. This has followed many months of negotiations with the good Lady Paulitoy.
Nothing is going into the attic at all. As one cabinet is dissassembled, the stuff is carefully moving downstairs into the spare [and never used] second lounge. This is now the new Command Centre. Hopefully it will be bigger and better than its predecessor....

Many thanks Aire, I guess you don't venture down into the Customs section very often?

excellent more space = more stuff
reworking the display is always healthy, makes you start to appreciate what you have, rather than obsess over what you've not got.
Is it going to be a similar layout. plan Paul, or is it going to be an overhaul?
Dave.

Cool!
Still I would fear the destructive powers of the hands of a toddler...
