I use an old tooth brush on my loose vintage Star Wars figures, brings them up a treat, works on the ship too just avoid the stickers. Does the bleach work on AF as my Skystriker is looking a little yellow and initial tests haven't done a thing.

I use alcohol wipes that I used to use for fibre optic work. I find they remove loads of stuff ie pen ink etc. They are very similar to the wipes used for cleaning CD & DVDS. They don't remove the paint but I would'nt use them where the paint is thin or weak.

Hello,

Thanks for the tips I was hoping to get started cleaning my figures up this weekend as I have just ordered some stands for them. For the more informed out there are telephone / computer screen wipes the same, or similar enough to wet wipes? I have tons of them at work and I sure they would not begrudge me a few ;-)

I am starting to find my slightly compulsive collector side coming out as I look about for figures. I was surprised to see just how much some can go for on evilbay!

Thanks for the help, it is much appreciated :-)
