I've just had a look at the W&P Show website - looks FANTASTIC. May well have to see what we're doing in July next year... hmmm, if there's vintage clothing on sale may have to take a trailer...
the reason I asked about the shad was that I see the German one has the same style eyes as the doofus shads I have seen on other threads. I'm getting confused now about what constitues a doofus

Yeah, that whole "doofus" Shad thing gets me confused as well Annie, no doubt
would like to explain it all again?
I like the look of a lot of that vintage stuff myself, the qaulity of matrials & workmanship always seems to be of high standard, but I couldn't wear it myself as it just looks uncomfortable to wear..I'm talking about the mens tailoring here & not the ladies stuff, before anyone starts

A dufus is a second wave Shad. They are easily distinguished by thicker soles, better hands, smaller heads with a less pointy visor and without fail a godawful paintjob on the eyeslits. They are also more rubbery, as were the bazookas supplied with them and they are a slightly fainter shade of red.

Would I be correct in thinking that all the "Gerry"
's would be 1st wave then?,what with no "Dufus" style 2nd wave moulds ever being produced for German market...
Looking @ 'em closely, the eye detail also looks slightly different..or could that be just a case of bad paint application?

Hmm ......
well he does'nt look like Bill Oddie, Graham Garden or Tim Brooke taylor .... so I would say definatley not !

i never liked the goodies, i think you got a great deal on those wether they are doofus or rude or whatever the hell you crazy cats call them.
