Yeah. it is entirely that, Ross. Specifically, elderly and dyslexic people have both told me the same thing.

you reversed the colours of the background? well, it does make reading the text better, but i found the logos slightly distracting...

Yeah, apparently the problem is the same for white, blue or gold - making the poll redundant. It's because they are high-contrast.

I'll try making the black logos grey...
