Fraid I'm not very good with thinking about custom ideas, I'm always left awe struck by the creations that you and the others who customise produce.
When confronted by a difficult problem you can solve it more easily by reducing it to the question. How would the Lone Ranger handle this?

Don't think I've seen a vintage chinese storm shadow, when your short of a theme you can always fall back on Tiger Force ;-)

Great score. Good to see some love for these Chinese Joes. I've got the Cobra Commander in this range still on the card (He's the only CC of the 4 I own who hasn't got a broken crotch - ouch! Maybe that's why I've not picked up a Red Laser yet fearing the same problem...). I don't know why there's not much interest in these in Joe collecting circles as they're a great way of picking up the classic Joe/AF 1985 figures carded at a decent price. Aparently, these have 'Made in China' on the figures as opposed to 'Made in Hong Kong' like the US/Euro versions, but by my reckoning, shouldn't that make the 'Made in China' versions more rare?

they are fakes, if you look @ the logo on the front of the card it says "HRSBRO"
the quality is also not as good.....

- I figured as much, still they look pretty impressive on the cards (at least 100 times better than the Funskool stuff from India, where you're lucky if the figure is still in one piece if it's bubble's even still attached to the card!), and they're the nearest an ever dwindling bank balance like mine will get to being able to afford some of the harder to find carded stuff!

Good call there! They did seem to make some bloody weird ones in this series. Despite the coolness of having a carded 1980s Cobra Commander or Storm Shadow for a decent price, theres the Destro in this series which is the high collar 'Harry Hill' version from the early nineties and the Major Bludd is a weird hotchpotch of pieces!
