Haven`t the heart to paint mine , although I`ve just managed to pick up the last of the bits to start a T.A.C Platform custom.
Baron has already done a

version, could a

base be possible?

that is awesome.
the green is nearly perfect, could you use an ink wash to darken it a bit?

I was originally planning to do mine as a moonbase, the SatDef sits beautifully in the folding ramp bay.
Not sure why I didn't, think I was short of something to use for the boys in

Hey baron, I'm currently customising one, but because I'm using el cheapo paint- it didn't stick (the inside aspect), did you have any probs with the paint sticking?
Scoob, another great conversion, really looks the part.

USE A GOOD PRIMER!
i cant remember the full name of the one i use, but it's made by mr. hobby & is for plastics & metals.
if you give it 2 or 3 light coats it's awesome & you will cover anything!
will post the full name when i get to the studio.

thanks, for years I have been using poundlands car primer paints - (£1 each funnily enough) and they usually work a treat, but will try and buy some decent paints and will use a primer...

I had no problems with paint sticking, the interior came up a treat. But I did spray it white first.
The problem I had was running out of black for the roof, so I had to do the underside red, only I didn't leave it to dry properly, and the black stuck to the newspaper, which stuck to the toy, and ripped, and won't come off, and went all lumpy, and I didn't have any more black, so I got in a big sulk and haven't touched it since.
