I really like them, Bill. The white line work in particular stands out as brilliant. Looking forward to seeing them progress!

gonna have a go at sculpting onto the AF torsos for some of the figs but i'm surprised how versatile the palitoy sculpts are.

erm.....its supposed to be firefly, lol.
the idea is what would palitoy have done with the cobra/joe characters but with AF molds.
i'm using gijoe heads but the rest will be palitoy molds.

Oh, I thought it was a Cobra Officer but you'd used the Firefly camouflage.

It's a perfect Palitoy-ised Firefly, and I'd imagine a lot of people would copy it. I have to say that despite the limited artuculation, in terms of sculpting the Palitoy stuff is absolutely head and shoulders above ANY 3 3/4 inch army figure range I've seen anywhere. The guy or team who did them was a very talented guy indeed. The GI Joes, especially the vintage ones, are anatomically dreadful compared to the Palitoy stuff.

In many ways that Firefly beats the crap out of any of the official ones in terms of it's sculpt (articulation notwithstanding)

Awesome Bill. I think there were never enough Shads as opposed to AF, makes for an unbalanced war ;)

I went out and bought some acrylic paints today, SAS grey, Flesh and Red. I'm doing a Q custom atm should be interesting to see if this stuff sticks better. Wife's out with the kids atm......

that was the initial plan.
i've just copied your design for the german paratrooper.
