Ross, the Gi Joe: World War III omnibus is good. It has lits of different vipers, the plague squad (incl Blackout) and Wilder Vaiugh and Dela in it too. Lots of good designs you'd like. The comics are probably out there on a torrent (America's Elite I think - checklist the issues on YoJoe). One of them is along the lines of your Viper design, so it's your cup of tea!
