i will see the movie and make my own judgements, thanks.
isnt everyone entitled to one? @ no point have i "reviewed" this movie, because i would give too much away if i did!
im not giving away spoilers here, all im saying is as far as "wolverines origin" goes it couldnt have been worse, or the movie version of deadpool, "the merc with the mouth"! Rise of the silver surfer was a more accurate marvel movie than this!
believe me, thats not just an opinion, but make your own judgements, thanks.

Well..., sorry this has flared up a bit. I honestly just wondered about the hand, that's all.
So what's the general consensus? Cyclops did it? He was born without it? Or it just simply never grew back?

Apart from making money,I've never understood this whole "alternative universe" thing that Marvel & co seem so keen on..or the "death off" only to be "re-born" thing..let alone the re-boot nonsense. I think thats what put me off super-hero comics back in the ninties..too-many big event stories,I started to read smaller titles like Little White Mouse & Queen & Country.

Hear hear..I think we've got a great little community going on, thanks to these two guys.
I think I see Marvel more as a franchise movie business now than comic business, its been so long since I've read a Marvel or D.C comic..I've get more experience of the films than the comics that the charactors acturaly came from nowadays.

AoA was an 'event' story like X-Cutioner's Song or Civil War or Secret Invasion.
the only universes Marvel do are:
616 (the original stuff)
Ultimate
Marvel Adventures (for the kiddies)
Spider-Man Loves Mary-Jane which is a whole seperate thing.
and Exiles, the universe-hopping team.
oh, and Zombies...

I'm more of a DC fan, but really only because they employ more english writers - basically I'm a 2000AD fan who follows Garth Ennis and Alan Grant's US material; Lobo, Demon, Hitman etc.
Vertigo have done some good stuff, everybody who likes Garth Ennis and / or Bill Hicks need to read Preacher. 100 Bullets is an excellent read too, and I'm really enjoying DMZ at the minute. The Boys is priceless Ennis too.
