WD40's also good for cleaning toy car tyres aswell

ok this is the worst of it, realy not sure if WD40 will do it as its more like plastic now than the rubber it was when it was a space suit but i will get some this weekend and give it a go over the easter break, thanks for the tips so far! :eagle2:

Found a ancient can of WD40 inthe garage..it must be good stuff as it was used for the Atlas rocket by General Dynamics no less..

Jesus Thundershot i reckon that cans certainly older than me! :lol:

Ok got myself some WD40 i tried spraying it on then rubbing it off after a little while but it had no effect so i've now decided to try soaking it in the stuff, think i might leave it in there a couple of days maybe?...

Hi,
I've never tried soaking things in WD40 before...but be careful v.s.c. I've known it to start to rub paint & printed details off some parts in the past...I don't want you to lose any thing off the det' box.

Havn't put the detonator box in yet, im just trying this lot out first before i do the rest, will take a look in the morning to see if there are any problems...

i didn't have time to get on here yesterday for an update but its looking good, hopefully later on today i can get it sorted as best i can then get some pics posted, as long as i get time,
