Hi SteveD..It may be better to leave the hands off the space ranger, from personal experience the gloves bugger up the gripping hands if left on for too long, Palitoy did produce a cloth space ranger suit as well..so keep the helmet & bits as you could save the outfit if you ever find the cloth version..
In fact keep any thing "old" ActionMan it's the small items that seem cost the most to replace,even if it's broken someone's bound be interested in it.

Chopper - I'm beginning to agree with you on this "fixing toys up" thing!

There is very little more satisfying than saving a toy from the bin. I have enough bits on the way from the US to fix about 10 AF/Joes. Maybe I should change my user name to Doc?

I too got a shock when I checked out VAM prices on evilbay. In NZ we had a mixture of 70's and 80's AM. The only difference between the 2 was the eagle eyes. The rest of the body was still stamped Hasbro 1975. I tell you what tho, I'd hate to think what a mint in the box Toltoys Talking Commander AM would be worth. I should have bought one Hindsight is a truly wonderful thing. When I was a kid I'd save my pocket money for uniforms, then late 3.35" Action Men (wave 1 Joes in NZ) and always thought "oh, I'll get that later" then one day it was too late. Time keeps on slipping....

I'm definitely going to get a 40th SAS outfit tho. Might even customise a 12" Chopper figure.

Mark the helmet in the Para attack is spot on you would only have to sort out a yellow life jacket.

I have a spare lifejacket here somewhere. Could use that as a template..... hang on....this is getting out of hand again. OK, I'm on the Chopper project. My wifes aunty is a dab hand on the sewing machine, might go a complete custom.

HA, I have 12 guitars in my study (translation, Pit) I am well versed in the almighty sneak and suck-up technique. I got flowers for her on Valentines day of course, and the wine celler is usually stocked well. Pre-emptive strike Nice to see some things are universal.

mmmm hasn't worked yet for me! My lovely lady has a bit of a temper (which she says is from her mum, who and I quote "had a typical fiery Irish temper") Bit like my red head temper........
