That's a valuable insight, Steve. I'll be sure to mention it in bold typeface above the character bios and blueprint scans.

Now, I can remember seeing one on the top shelf of Toymaster in Ripon on me holidays, next to a Hovercraft and Skystriker.

But I realise that's not much use, as I've no idea whether it was re-stickered Z Force box, or anything else.

Interesting Steve, I've never seen one as a child or man.

Persoanlly, I would bet that what you saw would have been a Z box with a sticker over.

These boxes are huge and often kept as they were sturdy and useful to keep the base [and other toys] in.

I'm amazed that if they did exist, that none are owned by at least one of us.

If it did exist, it would have been an AF sticker over a Z box and I am equally certain that the ATC would have been exactly the same - an AF sticker over an existing Z box.

I feel that the archive, once its back up, should state this on the listings for the AF command centre and APC - that no existing 'proper' boxed AF versions are known to exist and were probably never made.

Hopefully this will be proved wrong one day, but I'll pretty certain it won't...

Oh, I definitely agree Paul. Fact it was with hovercraft and stuff doesn't even mean it wasn't just a left over z force one.

Actually I could make little "Steve Says..." pop-up comments when you mouse over certain pics if you like?

Whether or not it actually hit the shelves is another matter! Sheesh, one step forward, two steps back.
