If we want him AFA graded and cased up, they won't do it for anything repro.

*Maybe* if the Baron spoke to AFA direct and explained the great personal significance of Bendy to all the members of the forum, then they might make an exception and we could get our greatest plastic hero what he deserves!

I had a couple of thoughts; use the "Bendy in a tree" picture instead of the range photo on the back, and I just knocked up a BFTB team dagger to go in place of the



I'd say use "Veteran" for the title, (along with foreign translations) and Bendy for the codename. Maybe put PRICELESS into the "Collect Them All" bit?

Yeah, a covering letter explaining it's a spoof would probably be a good idea!

The more you add, the more AFA will feel like being take the piss out. If you add a letter with spoof, they will return it without being processed. No doubt about that. AFA takes themselves seriously, so why should they help out in a joke that is taking the piss out of them?

Just send it in as is and see what happens.

Certainly would be easier than AFA ? can they case him and grade him still ?

They certainly can - Steve (aka The Kraken) is of the UK Graders, and I'm sure would be able to help.

Having said that I agree with Jaye - the AFA would return him if we sent him with a custom filecard or repro or anything like that, so I think we've go three options:-

1. A loose AFA grading, with no extra BFTB tomfoolery involved (original idea)
2. A Custom filecard/reseal combo - no grading.
3. Sweetalk The Kraken into some sort of commemorative grading?

I still prefer option 1 - the original plan was always to mount a rescue mission and release him anyway wasn't it, so he could once more feel the wind on his face? An adventurous free spirit like Bendy can never be contained long.

I had a vision of the Muton freeing him using Andys Dremel as part of the next MuTour.
