Usually its held around July 4th but I dont think they have announced the date this year, I expect it to be close to the GI JOE movie release like they did with the transformer convention
nothings been announced I believe and this is really the first thing that has been said about this years convention
I went to the one in Orlando florida several years back for a day and it was fun
these sets are expensive but Im willing to pay for it if its our gals and girls!
and of course its always in the USA
You can join the club for free ( but without any benefits ) I would recommend it and join up at the forums and voice your want of these guys, the more people that say something the more likely they listen to us
IF they do these sets and IF they sell well , expect more to come, and then expect hasbro as well to take note

How expensive is expensive? Bearing in mind that copper wire was invented by two Scotsmen fighting over a penny! And that I have an inbreed fear of spending too much cash!!
Note for SteveD
I've set a few up for you here please feel free to knock them over!

As we have an embargo on explanation marks I'm struggling with getting across the full impact of the innuendos though. (!)
It's like being neutered (!).

if it is the shads im definately going this year. not blue means red I think but this could relate to red shadows or more easily th october guard.
the large convention sets are always in stock for a while after and can be ordered from the club for about $250-$350 sometimes for years after. I have a mercenaries set from a few years ago. what always sell out pretty quick esp to ebay scalpers are the other sets they produce like the bio-hazard?! set from the last convention.
people are saying that the club arent allowed to produce 25th figures but they have had exclusives at the convention for a while now, rowdy roddy piper and destro are a few so the quarrel could easily be a convention exclusive.
If it is shads I WILL go this time round and will happily pick anything up for anyone, when you buy the tickets a large set is included and you can specify how many extra you want but the smaller sets are always limited, sometimes to one each.

I'd be so interested if these are ARAH molds and not 25th, I think a trip across the pond may be in order!

Actually Destro was not a
G.I. Joe Convention exclusive. He was a
San Diego Comic Convention exclusive. They just had extras left over to sell.
http://www.yojoe.com/action/07/rowdyroddypiper.shtml RRP was not a 25th sculpt figure.
The club has recently been known to make all new head sculpts.
Perhaps the Quarrel that is mentioned will be next year's San Diego Comic Convention exclusive.

My Money is still that "Quarrel" (Maybe, Commando Scarlett?) is the Scarlett in the Comic Pack with Cobra Commander. It's in a walmart listing from a few months back, and is supposed to be in the Snake-Eyes/ Night Creeper, and IG/ Viper wave. I'm hoping this Cobra Commander will have an inspired Red laser paint scheme to match the Scarlett.
