I love the old Joes from a nostalgia standpoint, but in 'real' terms I think too many of them are just plain ugly (odd proportions, melon heads etc.). I've found myself liking the 25th versions (and, by extension the Movie ones I hope) far more. The construction materials may not be as high a quality, but I find them more durable (read: 'Play with-able') and less inclined to colour fading over long periods. I daren't get my ARAH Storm Shadow or Spirit out of their tin for fear of them yellowing even more than they already are.
The recent addition of some amazing vehicles to the 25th line cements that preference for me, but I do realise I'm probably in a minority in favouring the new versions.

Hey Crimson, I'm with you as I have most of my vintage guys packed away. I prefer the current line of Joes they can hold some great poses and best of all if they fall and break there easy enough to replace.
Also anyone else think a little gray paint on movie Breaker and bam..... Ironblood Head?

That Baroness figure looks old. And I dont mean like an old toy, I mean an old lady. And why is she seemingly looking at the sky?
Hmmmm.

that works really well but if you're gonna make him i'd suggest swopping the legs as those are a bit on the chunky side

I'm not into the 25th anniversary or new wave figures at all and those movie figures aren't a step in the right direction. Baroness is an awful looking figure, looks cheap IMHO

Presuming these sculpts had 'actor approval', how on earth did Sienna Miller approve that BARONESS noggin (Unless they paid her to do so!)? Pity really, as the body is good.
I'm liking BREAKER a lot, though I wish the camo pattern on his trousers wasn't so over-simplified.

The Baroness hasn't got glasses on yet, so that'll change somewhat

I've been sent this image, it's a little different to the one above with more accessories, but no glasses here either, so hope it's of interest...
Dave.
