Re: ANNOUNCEMENT

Post by The Baron »

Had a mild heart attack last night when I realised that I had miscounted the pages in The Hornet's Nest, making us 12 pages short.

As a workaround I have incorporated the four unused Competition pages, the four other Adverts and am thinking of using the four Micro Comic pages.

I've reshuffled them again after it was pointed out that Sky Raider belongs in the Declassified volume.

It's getting there, I now have all of the remaining Z Force strips in one volume, and the same for the SAS.

Spearhead features all of the original teams, and Crossfire features both Space Force and Q Force. As Moondancer and Dolphin both appear in the Deep Cover finale I have put them (and the Moondancer strip) together in the same volume.

It really feels like each book is starting to have it's own identity now.

I'll post my lazy ignorance here because I'm not going to take the time and go back and look...
Will these be sold by volume or just as 1 giant set ?
Do you have a general idea of prices ?

They'll be available as soon as each one is completed. The prices will be roughly the same as the current volumes. They are each four pages longer than the Best Of books.

This is worrying.

When I ordered my Best Of volume 2 from Lulu in September it cost me £30.25 plus £3.75 P&P. I've just gone through the order process again and it now costs £39.27 plus £17.08 P&P!

The cost calculator states "This product is manufactured in the U.S. Shipping rates will be high for customers outside of the U.S."

What's happened?

Bloody hell... Have you uploaded it do the us site instead of the euro one or something? Dont even know if you can do that...

Has anyone tried to order one of the old ones recently? They might have gone up too...

Is it the same if you order all three at the same time?

You and me both!

Well, I've just done a dummy order for the old paperback, and that costs £32.02 plus £3.75 P&P

It looks like the hardback editions are no longer manufactured in the UK

I can release the new books as paperbacks, but I'm going to have to resize every single page and upload them again.

Please bear with me while I investigate.
