There is a Firefly available in red, one of the BJs exclusive set, not that hard to pick up...

The only thing apart from a head swap was to paint the dark blue webbing and detail black...

Hot diggity dog! that would be perfect, If you could push the boat out and add another skull and crossbones logo where he has the cobra logo on his head that would be fantastic. I have 2 of the BJs exclusive, never liked the look of their brown heads. pm me your address and I'll send them both if that's ok, cheers, Gavin

Superb customs Andy, the quality of the workmanship is impressive!

I've have lots of ideas for customs but the only thing that lets me down is the paint application, any tips mate?

Cheers

Jon

no tips as such ? I just use whatever brush i have at hand ! although I do have an extremely fine one for detailing. I find you get a better finish with games workshop paints than with any others I have tried, the paint seems to glide on very smoothly.

all I can suggest is time and patience ! everyone makes mistakes but they can always be put right !

dont be afraid to have a go, get stuck in but take your time.

I prefer to dissassemble a figure for painting if possible, then I have one of those clip thingys for holding parts.

if the part is held and your arm is rested on the table then the shakes are reduced and the brush will go where you want it to !

sorry im rubbish at explaining stuff but hope this helps ?

Great customs!!

I use Citadel Paints (from Games Workshop) too, for exactly the same reasons (though red colours are quite poor in that range)
