Hey the pants on the outside of his jeans reminds me of wee story.
To set the scene a few months prior to a formal dinner I was at we were on exercise, a few of my fellow officers though it would be a good idea to go in to my Bergen and get a pair of my pants out and run them up the flag pole! After a few hours I wondered why everyone was standing around the flag pole looking and laughing! Just glad it was the clean bag they went in to!
Any way at this function two of the girls presented me with a pair of tartan boxer shorts which I promptly stuck on over the top of my uniform! (not the done thing at these functions!!) They did try to get me to take my trousers off and wander in with just the tartan boxers on! Thankfully I wasn't drunk enough to to that!
Ah memories!!

Welcome back, Redkat!
I agree with zakkfan. Just the other night my girlfriend and I were at her parents' place and her Mum was asking about my toys. I told her without hesitation that I was simply trying to catch up with certain toys that I had wanted during the 1980s but that I just couldn't have. It's as plain and simple as that.
But that doesn't mean I'm about to join the 40 Year Old Virgin posse! I love my

stuff, but of myself and my brothers I was the first to leave home (aged 20), I love going to rock concerts, and I LOVE spending time with my girlfriend!
I'm not gonna sit at home and watch my life slowly drip away. (Hey, that's from
Highlander 2 !)
I've mentioned before that there are a LOT of Military bases near where I live, some British and many American. It does seem to be a phenomenon amongst the majority of U.S. families that the children stay at home with Mum and Dad until they're old and grey themselves with little or no hope of a relationship. Not ALL families, but MANY. Its certainly a lifestyle choice... but not one that I'll be pursuing!
I love what I've got too much;
freedom!
Thanks for posting, Redkat. You've got everyone chatting away!

Luckily for me, my girlfriend is totally cool about

and I. She's glad that I'm reading
Battle Action Force and not
Reader's Wives! Eww, what a concept.... And it's better to spend your money on

than Crack Cocaine! My girlfriend is really supportive and has bought a lot of
Battle Action Forces for me... and the other day when
The Birmingham N.E.C. came up in conversation,
she remembered that that was where the

HQ was situated!!!
What a great gal! Lucky me!
