Andy, unless I'm going to be offline at close of auction, I only EVER bid at 7 seconds to go. Anything other just ups the price.

It helps if you have 2 monitors, one with the auction which you can constantly refresh using the F5 key, and another on the second bid page, amount keyed in, with your mouse poised over the BID button...

this base is going to be subject to late bidding and wouldnt be surprise to see it go abroad (US) my estimate is 350 because of jammer and head honcho the yanks are mad for these guys!!!!!!!

I notice that these are all listed in the Action Man category on e-bay. I always look under the Action Force/GI Joe category when buying stuff.

Do you think that these may go for lower than expected due to them being in the action man area or is it just me not looking in the right place!?

I'd expect it might have an influence, but it looks to me like lots of folk have already "found" them.

I once picked up a boxed triad fighter, complete with Moondancer and accesories for less than a Fiver out of the Action Man listings! I think those days are long gone though!

This Base is still sat there with no bids! £30 plus £20 postage still makes it quite cheap. Will people please start a bidding frenzy on it as if it's still sat there with no Buyer in a day or so I'll not be able to help myself and will end up with another complete base. And that's not a good thing.
