hi people
im thinking of customizing a spare cobra command bunker
whats the best paint/spray to use?
and does any company make the closest colour to the enemy red?

depends on how you prefer painting, for figures i use humbrol enamels but vehicles i use spray paint, i use a plastikote satin real red from B&Q / Hobby Craft for Red Shadow red which is the closest match ive found but you will need to prime the vehicle first... i use a grey primer as it doesnt make the red too bright...

Can`t wait to get started on this now!, Booked up all this weekend,so I`ll work on it during the week and
see if I can get some pics up for next weekend.
I tend to use "Revell SM 330" for the Shadow`s red colour.

what does the sm stand for with the revell? i thought it was the equivalent of the humbrol satin but i bought a tin of revell paint and it was a nightmare to work with, ruined a couple of kraken customs i was working on at the time...
do you have any hints for working with it?
