I told him he should come on here to talk,i also opened a dispute on ebay becouse i thought he was ignoring me,now i feel bad about it. Does it cost 10 to cash a money order for 15 us dollars? sounds nuts. anyways I hope this gets settled soon.
Depends on the bank. Some will refuse to cash any foreign cheques or money orders under a certain amount, and those that will charge a fee. I looked into this some years ago, and decided that it wasn't worth all the expense aand hassle.

He's more than welcome to come on here, we should be able to settle this somehow.

One possibility is to make a second order and combine shipping costs on the two, but include his expenses - not brilliant but better than nothing.

Just to clarify, even if he returns the uncashed money order to you, you can't get your money back from it, right?

Just thought I'd mention a bit of trivia regarding the seller in question - toydreamsuk.

http://www.toydreams.co.uk/actionforce/index.html

Like I stated before I've bought from him many times and have nothing but praise for the guy as he always treated me very well and I was always pleased with everything that I bought from him.

Jonathan Bow [newswseller on this board] told me before that the guy is actually the TV expert on the UK BBC Antiques Roadshow [UK TV program] for the toys section when they occasionaly do modern toys.

His website prices are pie in the sky I always think, but he's the guy that does the valuing in front of the cameras apparently. Don't know if Jonathan was winding me up, but he seemed to be telling the truth.

Anyway, that doesn't much help your problem, I know, but at least it gives you a little insight into the guy that you're buying from.

thats right the money order once made out can only be cashed by the one who it is made out for. Would it make a difference if it was deposited? instead of cashed? So i have asked him in here and even went threw ebay to get the message to him,im not sure if he will though,as for ordering more from him,im a poor guy who works for wal-mart and barly makes ends meet since my gf cant work becouse shes still recovering from cemo. its funny when i decied to treat myself and forgo a bus pass for the month this happens. so im walking 5 miles to work for nothing.anyways to get to the point,i dont have any spare cash. besides i live in the middle of america,no english pounds to be found. hey i rhymed,Kool beans

i have a strange feeling you may smile a bit more when a certain package drops through door in next few weeks and all walking will be worthwhile. :shadow: :wolf:
