Blood for the Baron!

There is a German Picture box but no UK version, I would put that down to surplus stock toward the end of palitoy and the final phase with rereleased boxes, why produce it if you have so much already.

As much as I would love one I don't have the German box

I wonder if the Cosmic Crusier just didn't sell as well and there was a lot left, so no need to change the packaging?

I was thinking that too, Paul, maybe even the Cosmic Cruisers lack of success was a contributory factor in preventing the Space Force transporters release?

All good theories but could it simply have been a surplus stock issue?

I suspect it may have a been due to surplus stock.

Always go with the simplest solution... using a variant matrix, and cross-referencing to all box types, I calculated that due to a larger number of over, or surplus, stock, Palitoy simply felt no need to redesign.
This was probably caused by Space Force not selling as well as the other teams.

All the others probably sold really well and they decided to make those look funkier.

So where is that surplus stock now then as the Cosmic Cruisers do not appear on Ebay?
