Much obliged, and yeah, I'd love to tackle this, but it is a huge undertaking.
The big question is, what evidence remains for prototypes, etc, and where is that information.
Mr Tree seems to have access to Palitoy's archive, and he seems to play his cards very close to his chest.
Actually, I've never understood why - if it was me, I'd be screaming from the rooftops! I suppose it's connected to his book about Palitoy's history that is somewhere in the pipeline.
I'm going to do some studying... I feel an XL spreadsheet coming on! (*scurries over to the archive section)
I have to disagree on this, around 50% of the prototype pictures on the Toy archive here have been through what I have shared, some are just not as exciting as others and don't get talked about (never seen any talk on any of the unpainted first shots).
There is no one 'archive', there is about 10 years worth of research on Palitoy to find the dots and then connect some of them. It is scattered. Those things I have been in a position to share I have, there are those who have asked me not to share online, respecting their wishes I have not posted online and there are those that I have had to go through great lengths, hoops and personal financial cost myself.
In some cases, some of this has been presented at Roll Out Roll Call (concepts, TV adverts etc), which has allowed folk to see some of it. I've never been a closed book about any of it and always been happy to talk to people in person, plus given the great lengths taken to put on a show for Action Force for over 5 years now it's never been easier
Just my thoughts.
