It's expensive for a bit of old cardboard but I've never seen one for sale in the UK...... ever!! I don't care if it doesn't sell as I'm happy to keep it. Warren is selling the repro one if you're after one?

I take it you clicked on a pic? Nah, the Defiant is definately not for sale, My only Holy grail that I sold was the Terrordrome which I consider the easiest of the 3 to repurchase (I can see myself buying it again one day).
Yup, clicked on the Thunderclap picture and was redirected to your gallery
Glad to hear that one of the best playsets ever arent leaving you........just yet

The defiant is my favourite piece ever, at some point I'd like to get a neater one than mine. I recently had a deal with a US seller for those blue doors that went sour. In a way I lost a bit of faith in it all. Not enough for me to give up but I think it put a thought into my head. I can see myself focusing on quality next, maybe buying some boxed stuff from those first 5 years if possible.

Sounds familiar Graham, I'm scaling right back and just going to keep few nice pieces.
I'm seriously considering letting go of my Joe figures and just collecting Action Force.
To make myself feel a bit better I may get a couple of Sideshow figures as and when.
Can you recommend a UK seller and is there a decent forum for Hot toys?

On Facebook there's a couple of good groups, I was lucky in that Nick Whitmore was selling his collection, I picked up my exclusive beachhead and rock n roll for a reasonable price. Just takes one person selling their collection to start you off! As you know yourself, there's plenty come up on eBay UK for around £100 each. I bought all the new ones direct from sideshow, I also bought the golden age captain America from them, any issues and atleast you have customer services an email away!

I think I might save up and wait for the back to the future stuff due 2015.
I would love to get Marty and a Dolorean but I have a feeling the car could well be around the £500 mark.

Yeah, They both look amazing! I think there was an Ani con exclusive that had his guitar, TBH if you're going ot spend $239+shipping+customs you need the Exclusive. £500 is probably right for the Delorean! (Remember there'sbound to be a Doc at some point too). I'm after the DX12 Batman and Tumbler, I've seen the Camo version sell at £200 which is about £250 less than the Black one).

It's a pain in the backside that they are so expensive. I certainly will only be getting a couple but then again isn't that how it always starts? I like the Predator stuff too but the Billy Sole figure bothers me as in the film he had jet black hair but the figure is blonde. I realise it's a small detail but isn't that what your paying the premium for?
I would blow my load if they did a Running man line of figures.
I would have to get a Ben Richards figure and the stalkers
