Re: Action Force Convention Bixset?

Ahhhhhh the annual convention box set thread has arrived :)

I've had the figures instore for nearly two years, I have a bunch of loose Snake Eyes if anybody wants to test them as the vehicle was needed on another project.

Whilst I have my own thoughts with respect to this, if The Club were to ever take a proposal seriously, so they can see how active their membership in Europe is, how many members here have joined The Club?

Is The Club actively supported here to join up, even when they include Action Force in their comic stories?

How many people purchased Quarrel from The Club? Not ebay, The Club itself?

and lastly, sadly, how many people HERE would actually buy it? 4 conventions down and some folk have never come, I understand times and dates may not always work out, but after 4 years?
How many exclusives have totally sold out? Some of these have been low price points and been numerous, yet few, if any, have all sold.

I think the idea of a custom project is a better use of energy as it brings more people to the mix, builds a sense of community and I'm sure many collectors would be willing to sell these of cheap to give them a new lease of life :)

Well I didn't include my own thoughts, that's when I would have been more on form :)

I just want that Cobra Commander figure, he f*cking rocks, no matter what Ed thinks.

And that Clutch figure would look so cool in :qforce: colours, yellow clothes, blue boots and gloves and kneepads and a red hat and chest accs.

These figures remind me of Chap Mei ones. That's all I got to say on the subject.

And they need O rings. ;-)

I always considered that the reason the Joe club figures never sold so well is because they were prohibitively expensive, Dave. If I could get to roll call, I would, let alone a Joe convention. Although there are plans for something down under the distances make it bloody hard.

Heh I know that Chopper :)

What I mean is everyone will say what they want, but when it comes to the crunch...

What I DO know though is The Club monitor their memberships VERY closely, the best way to see more Action Force is for them to see a significant increase in their UK / European memberships, you've got to be in it to win it :)

Yes, and the cost of figures is pretty high as well as the freight being a bit much too. I'd rather get the figures I want off ebay than have to sign up for the club, especially on my budget. As much as I'd like the comic's, is not worth it when you have other things in life to do as well.

I have been a member since late 2011 the membership is currently £55.13 yearly so overall it's not too expensive considering you get monthly magazines, a yearly figure and discounted store prices this obviously does not include the FSS membership.
