My problem is I am shite at customizing! My painting is dire.
I think I will practice a bit more on something smaller first lol.
Agreed a

and

would be the nuts though!
I look forward to seeing some of you guys puting some pictures up in the near future.

I bet it (that is the Herc') would look way cool parked up alongside Chap Mei's Harrier Jump Jet...especially if both were painted in 70's style R.A.F colours.

I have a Harrier custom nearly finished (

TKW

) and the scale is perfect. The only thing I would say with mine is that unlike the one in the photo the cockpit glass is blue which to me is'nt quite

but thats what I'm stuck with.
As for the Herc Wolfforest with you being new to customizing

would probably be easiest. I've recently found this paint in a shop called UK discounts for £1 a can. The satin black and grey primer are perfect for

although I did have to pay more and get a white primer of this store:
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/230829999789? ... 1423.l2649
It dries quickly and I can't believe how good quality the finish is for so little money. Army painters is my fave but for black and grey this stuff is just as good.
I'd be quite happy to help you if you need any advice or tips. I have'nt got a Herc yet but already planned a few versions in my head. The only other thing I would say is go very minimal on the yellow its a bugger to paint on and get a good finish with either spray or brush! Also always seal with a good satin varnish. I use an acrylic bush on or humbrols satin spray varnish.

Sounds like it's going to be good, Humby, Krackers had two of the clear canopies break on him I'm wondering..are the blue ones more robust?

Maybe. I'm a bit finicky so with all

glass being clear the blue bugs me a little. If I ever get round to do vacuum forming then a may do replacement canopies etc.
