^Or the next best thing, either a miniseries or a Special Missions book featuring Colton in action again fighting the Shadows. Heck, I'm surprised no one at Devil's Due has thought of doing a Declassified book on the first G.I. Joe. Good place to see the original team, and even a place to introduce Colton's other nemesis, the Black Dragons from the Operation:Anaconda convention exclusive set released at Joe Con '03.

Re: COLTON VS VAUGHN
I see Vaughn as possibly one leader of a number of Red Shadow cells. Being the more ambitious, the most senior member after Black Major & Red Jackal. Perhaps during Baron Ironblood's reign he could have been the U.S. cell leader. Kulik & Dela are his lieutenants.
I personally hate them because they killed Lady Jaye in that story.

Personally I think its comic gold , all of the sudden I am super interested in Joseph Coltons past and Vaughns as well
While others didnt like the RED SHADOWS storyline I LOVED IT,
I think the Red Shadows has so much potential and because of that connection now Joseph Colton does too
course I would have loved to see
Vaugh referred to as the Baron Iron Blood
and
Kulik referred to the RED JACKAL ( both are from the former USSR , both are the strong guys of the group ) but I am still quite interested in the Joseph Colton character where I was never before
any thoughts?

That's the best retcon idea I've heard yet.Goldbug wrote:I see Vaughn as possibly one leader of a number of Red Shadow cells. Being the more ambitious, the most senior member after Black Major & Red Jackal. Perhaps during Baron Ironblood's reign he could have been the U.S. cell leader.
