that was a really good one wasnt it, that is one of the things that I loved about this comic . we got all kinds of character development and origins that we never got before

Baron Ironblood :baron: breaking world water speed record whilst (badly) impersonating a woman lol at the end of Operation Claymore also Mutt :mutt: taking toy dogs for a walk in Hacienda Hit story(little comedy bits stand out for me showing writers had a good sense of humour)..I'm sure I can think of some more when I re read a few more stories

Now that I've read (and remembered) it in it's entirity again, everything in OPERATION CLAYMORE.
Bloody brilliant story, perfectly paced and with a real sense of danger to the regular 'cast'. GI JOE can't even touch it...

It is an epic. How to infiltrate and seize a whole town wihout firing a shot. Haggis's heroic last stand made a marked impression upon me as a lad.

Don't get me started, I'd love to colour the bugger.

Too true, too true. The only problem is that within two months of it ending we had the rise of the cobber-mupps. Even :hunter: was just warming up!

The bit with the Highlands copper is particularly good, everything builds to the last stand, I spent several years checking for nets under bridges too (long story...)
