that was a really good one wasnt it, that is one of the things that I loved about this comic . we got all kinds of character development and origins that we never got before

Baron Ironblood breaking world water speed record whilst (badly) impersonating a woman lol at the end of Operation Claymore also Mutt taking toy dogs for a walk in Hacienda Hit story(little comedy bits stand out for me showing writers had a good sense of humour)..I'm sure I can think of some more when I re read a few more stories

Now that I've read (and remembered) it in it's entirity again, everything in OPERATION CLAYMORE.
Bloody brilliant story, perfectly paced and with a real sense of danger to the regular 'cast'. GI JOE can't even touch it...

It is an epic. How to infiltrate and seize a whole town wihout firing a shot. Haggis's heroic last stand made a marked impression upon me as a lad.

Too true, too true. The only problem is that within two months of it ending we had the rise of the cobber-mupps. Even was just warming up!

The bit with the Highlands copper is particularly good, everything builds to the last stand, I spent several years checking for nets under bridges too (long story...)
