It's a can of Plasti-kote Satin Super 2106 Real Red. About a fiver from B&Q. They also do a Satin Black which I used for the SAS Helicopter. I wish I could get one to match Z Force Green, but they're all too bright or too dark.

Not thought of a name for either vehicle yet. I like 'Scorpion' or some derivative for the rocket launcher, as the sting is in the tail! Shadowcat is excellent, but I can't help thinking of the girl from X-Men.

well some great creations these could all fit into the action force original range and would bolster the barons army as he has always been left wanting for firepower and a diversity of vehicles for different terains

Jimbo, I ask again, you might have overlooked my question:
Jimbo, I assume you print your stickers. Do you have them digital. I love to do some Z Force, but don't want to use my spare original sheets.

Cheers for the info Jimbo, a very original find!! Poor old disenfranchised Humbrol lol!!

Yeah, X-Man, all pervasive. Maybe Shadowpanther? Scorpion would be good. Old UK army had a series of vehicles based on the UK Scorpion tank chassy, Scimitar and some others I forget, but one included TOW missile armed tank, was to counter CCCP armour on the Central Front... maybe inspiration there?

Anyway, one day I'll ask for the stickers once I've B&Q'd a few pieces...

Fantastic work Jimbo!

I'll add another vote for the Shadowcat, the name does seem to suit it. Very nice custom by the way.

An idea for another of the Snowcats if you can, would be to remove the launcher as you said and perhaps have a transparent canopy over the back, sort of a Popemobile like look, for the Baron to have somewhere protected to direct battles from?

Love the hovercraft by the way, The Shadowshark perhaps?

It's bugging me now, why did the Shadowtrak have wheels? How easy would it be to convert to a half track, I wonder.

I too, have spread the word, I hope this is OK:

How does Red Sting sound? Maybe as a driver name?

shadow half track

here's a little WIP I've been working on.....

the snowcat shell seem to shout out as being used for a half track vehicle, and just like you asked, why did the shadow trak have wheels.

so it can be done, the snowcat base frame just needing trimming, and the cockpit area had to be cut out, the front fender had to be shortened.

p/s happy new yr everyone! (special ops remains on hiatus......)
