nice touch

Post by Double-Tap »

popped into forbidden planet today to see a mate works there and he mentioned the ROC toys were half price.
they didnt have a great selection but there was a big sign under the toys said "half marked price".

i brought everything i wanted to the counter and mentioned the sign.
my mate said yeah, they were all £4 and i said that the toys were already marked down to 1/2 price but the sign said "half marked price" so surely they were only £2. he laughed called me a chancer then put them all through for £2 then knocked another 10% off as well. RESULT

then a quick trip to TRU and picked up a few more figs for £4.
not a bad day :-D

Was that the West London one? Were they selling any 25th bits on the cheap?

Sorry, Bill. Just remembered where you live and realised that its quite unlikely that it was the West London one.

Cheers Bill, I would imagine the West London one is well stocked.
