Probably the biker gangs and high murder rate. Somerset and Devon is full of rolling hills and gets plenty of snow. I know it's not England but Wales is littered with mountains.

I left NZ because in the last 2 years of school Dad decided to move here. Baron, NZ may have biker gangs but it has a much lower crime rate than the UK and even Aussie. In fact iirc, the highest rate of violent assault in all of Europe is in the UK, specifically Glasgow. I read too much
