Most likely yes.

Both spot on! Before I visited this website the black rifle was the only rifle I knew for the Z Force Captain!

I fully agree! If you would count painting errors as a variant you might end up with unique figures only!

Isn't it possible to make a visual list?

You start with the oldest figure(s) that used a certain mold, eg. a leg mold and then you add all the figures that share this mold. You work your way through all the leg molds then move on to arms, heads, torso.

And if that list is complete maybe some whacky programmer can turn it into a nice flash application where you select body parts and then the right figure comes out! :D

Excellent idea Jaye, and sort of where I was hoping we might end up with this thread - a nice set of useable photographs working right through from Series 1 up to the end of series 2 (and possibly beyond) that could be added to the archive, and a lovely catalogue of all the body parts ultimately used.

I'll try to get some more pics up of more from Series 1 later this week to keep things moving along as it seems like the first few figures are done?

There are several existing photos of dismantled figures in the Prototypes archives, if that's any use?

The legs on that Minesweeper (Scout) are different to mine. Is that the short boot variant, Andy?
I have only ever had my hands on 4 or 5 minesweeper figures and they all had the same legs as this one. I have never seen the Mythical short boot variant ..... other than in pictures.

Patience young Master Andrew - we shall get to series 2 in good time my dear chap! And then the short boot chap shall be revealed in all his glory! Or you could have a look at the archive? Or just scroll down a bit?

But that's not for him to be categorised yet Hopper - just to stop Andy being impatient!
