GI Joe cartoons

Post by Jimbobx »

Me and the boy have now watched our GI Joe cartoon DVD to death. There's only six episodes on it.
I was thinking of investing in the GI Joe Season 1 Pt 1 (the one with the dog tags on the front) which is region 1. Does anyone know if this will play on my standard UK laptop?

I was watching a dvd on my laptop the other night there was no light on it but the screen looked like a negative most times so I couldn't properly see what was going on.

I've just picked up the new Region 1 DVD from 'Shout'. The quality is marginally better than the first release, the set has more extras and the complete series will eventually get released (Rhino only release the first half of season 2)

If your laptop is new then you'll have six (usually) oppotunities to change the region code of the drive. Stick the Joe DVD in and it'll say it's the 'wrong region - Do you want to change it?'.

there is software i use called "dvd/css region free" which allows any region dvd to be played on your pc. it also gets around copy protection and allows you to copy any dvd as region 0 no matter the region.
i managed to download the software for free but cant remember where but shouldnt cost too much
