i have the same problem ironblood, i worked nights for 12 years and it's ruined my sleep pattern, i can only sleep for 5 hours at a time, i'm on holiday now and i'm up and wide awake at 4:30am it's frustrating. I don't work nights anymore but my body won't adjust to normal sleep.
I can't sleep either, mind you its quarter past 3 in the arvo Wouldn't mind a kip, I've been reading Charley's War and my eyes are getting tired. Back to work ....
I often have the opposite problem, some days I can't get enough sleep, it's normally about a week before I have a migraine..I get so tired & irritable.
Ironblood, I've posted my 9 month old son to you. Let me know how you get on with the night feeds and the screaming.
Well... if you are up anyway you may as well make yourself useful! Try to encourage him towards the early vintage figures will you... none of this 25th crap!

"Red! The colour of my Shadows, The colour of fire and of blood......All that I stand for!" Baron Ironblood, Operation Bloodhound
Anything that keeps your mind too occupied or any worries that keep you up at night?
If that's not the case, there's really nothing to worry about. As you get older the body needs less sleep, but for some strange reason people believe they must sleep ±8 hours per night. Don't force yourself into the thought "I must sleep", because that is not true. Sometimes I only sleep for three hours a night, go to work early and have a normal day.
