I'm glad to see this tread has been given the usual royal hijack, best keep up with tradition. I'll say this, DS9 was pretty good, the final sucked tho. Red Dwarf is da bomb and Voyager was the better of the last 3 trek shows. Ross is right, TOS is the best.

Friends is mediocre at best IMHO, but Lawrence's later creation, Scrubs, is brilliant. Double tap, I'm sorry man. Desperate Housewives. you poor bugger. I have to watch shows like the Amazing Race, but desperate housewives?

In regards to Middle eastern Joes, there was Taurus from Istanbul, that would have to be pretty close to qualifying?

1 of the funniest tv shows ever made.

desperate housewives is awful. the first season was ok but now i cant stand it.
but to the missus' credit i control about 90% of the tv in MY house and she has to put up with it

Most of my viewing is done via bittorrent and Xbox The wife does morning shifts and goes to be early, she commands the box till she goes to bed. Then its a world of Smallville, Battlestar (RIP), Batman, Clone Wars, Flash Gordon, Superman.....

My missus also watches Prison Break, which I got sucked into. I got Red Dwarf last week and will hopefully sit down tonight and watch it. Then I'll rewatch all 8 seasons On a bit of a men Behaving badly kick atm.

The DS9 finale sucked? It was EPIC!! 12 episodes of back-to-back plot development with an all-out battle and the final showdown between [SPOILERS!]?

DS9 is the only Trek with an actual story arc, it's the only one with actual villains come to that, and Gul Du Kat is superb. Garak is sublime, Quark is wonderful, Jadzia is da bomb, Kira has a peach of an ass, Sisko is the best captain of them all.

As for Voyager, it had loads of promise but went nowhere. The last two seasons were pretty turgid in all honesty. Chuckles was weak, Paris was weaker (hotshot bad boy my ass), Hairy Quim was diabolical, Kes looked like a boy and as for Neelix... Katherine Hepburn wasn't bad but aside from Tuvok and the Doctor the cast sucked. OK, Torres had her moments, but where was the Maquis mutiny?

TNG is strong, but majorly lacking in chickage. TOS is pretty crap, really.

The new film looks excellent.
