My WIP'
Thought I'd show off a couple of ideas I've been trying out. Here are the Z guys.
From the left, Sgt Mjr Zero, Jammer, Tracker V2 (From Codename Tracker), Mr Undecided, and Nightmare. Nightmare will get his body stripped and repainted, got some more idea's there. Tracker is about done, still need to camo up the Sarge's arms and remove the camo from Mr Undecided's upper legs.
Still working on Z forward fire support, SAS long range trooper and Red Jackal.
Cheers
Mark

Nice work! I love the idea of Nightmare! A Desert Shadow! Were they ever in BAF (Baron will no doubt know!)

Re: My WIP'
Nightmare was, not in desert gear tho. I was reading Codename Tracker last week and thought these would be cool. When I was younger I was always pissed off that Tracker had the Commando Balaclava and not the cool Z Force headgear like the rest. Fixed that problem, eh?SteveD wrote:Nice work! The last 3 will be better than this lot, for sure. I'm getting the hang of this now. Nearly forgot the ultimate GI Joe guy too, Captain Craptastic..
BTW, many thanks to Andy1672 and Paul in getting these guys up and running. Now whenever I see AF or Joe limb's all I can think of is the best way to rearrange them. OK, I've been doing that for years, but now its a problem.....

Re: My WIP'
Great stuff Mark, the Desert
bloke could almost have been in Desert Strike
When confronted by a difficult problem you can solve it more easily by reducing it to the question. How would the Lone Ranger handle this?
Re: My WIP'
You beat me to it with the desert Shadow! The Desert Rat head sculpt is nice and a shame not to use it.
Great work!
Great work!

G'day Chopper..
Great stuff, are you a fan of Terrahawks in any way?
Sgt Major Zero would have to have the same voice as Winsor Davies..

Re: My WIP'
Thanks guys. More of a It ain't half hot mum fan, Thundershot. Got all the DVD's. I can imagine him yelling at the Z guys, "move it you 'oribble bunch of poof's", "move yerselves, move yerselves". Lol. I did like the Terrahawks but I much preferred Captain Scarlet.
I had a pair of the commanders legs on Mr Undecided but they looked odd, so Breakers legs it is. Mmhph, that's funny. Breaker leg. Sorry... I like the contrasting white on his head, so I'm not sure what I'll do with that. Maybe he could be a Z sniper? The idea of the hat on the Shad guy is more of a Snipers veil or hood than a desert piece. Of course that is useless if its for the benefit of camo, but I liked it and left it. So the same could be done with the Z guy, green snipers veil. Hmmmm. Tho I do agree with Paul, Desert Strike would have been perfect as he is now. Best re-read that. Was watching a Z Jeep on ebay, the buggers hit nearly $100au tho. Phew.
One thing I liked about the desert rat head and the commanders parts, is that they weren't used in the later force waves. Makes it easier to make a distinctive character.
As far as the desert sniper shad goes, I'm not sure about the torso. I'll see how it comes up after a repaint. The SAS guy and Radar are my favourites, when the heads arrive, they will be completed, rather quick
Cheers
