It's actually more to do with organisation and breifing. Star Wars was an international product led by Kenner in the US, and standards were set and the standardization across the products were easy to follow. Seriously, is it me or did the company pay more attention to Star Wars than to Action Force? I cannot recall so many errors with Star Wars (maybe because I am not so deep into Star Wars), but there are so many variants with Action Force that every figure tends to be a one of a kind unique figure...
