Palitoy: The toys that shaped our childhood

Exhibition will start Saturday 7th February 2015 ending on Saturday 25th April 2015.

Palitoy was a British company with origins dating back to 1919, it produced its first toy in 1920 and first doll in 1925, but most people remember the toys themselves such as Action Man, Pippa, Tiny Tears, Care Bears and of course Star Wars Figures.

This exhibition looks at the company Palitoy and its toys and our relationship with childhood memories, come along and be prepared to utter those famous words, ‘Wow, I had one of them’.

Bad news about Snibston

I thought Red Baron worked there, maybe hes behind all this.

I think he does, was a threat of closure before, but after that there was an excellent Bob Brechin and Brian Turner exhibit.

Snibston's a brilliant museum I was really impressed by the place, especially their historical fashion clothing collection, a crying shame it's closing.
