Lady Jaye, you bloody little ripper

Post by Chopper »

That's Aussie sling for you are brilliant. Its been a busy week or three gearing up to renovate the house as as Kath puts it, its every mans dream to renovate and live in it.

Anywho. As I was moving the car to mow the lawn I noticed something in the letter box holding the door open a fraction. Bloody junk mail thinks me so I opened it up and found this;

Stunned would be an understatement. I reckon I stood there blinking for about 10 minutes.

It would appear our resident Lady Jaye had dropped a bombshell on Australia. Niels, I'm speechless. The last series 1 to 3 I needed is here. Well, Moondancer is still in limbo, bu that's another story. I never thought I would ever get here, but thanks to Niels (and a few other dodgy characters around here), its done. There are no more figures I need to collect and a milestone has been reached. WTF do I do now?

Thank you very, very, very, very......... much LJ. Dolphin is in da house. I'm speechless, which is just as well I can still type.

You needed just one figure to complete your collection, I had it spare. This was a prank I just had to pull! :)

Good to see it arrived safely.

Well Mark :) Niels is a true gentleman :)
When confronted by a difficult problem you can solve it more easily by reducing it to the question. How would the Lone Ranger handle this?

This doesn't surprise me in the least!! Niels has been helping people out and taking good vibes and pennies rather than hard cash and greed for as long as I can remember on BFTB :)

Great story and seriously chuffed for you Chop Chop :)

Um, yes Steve. ;-) Ed, Star Wars figures can be got cheap as chips. I have this trick, drop the odd cheapy bid on a figure you like and eventually sheer weight of numbers will pay off. Mint Chewie with gun for $6 or mint Hoth Luke for $5 example. Its just a waiting game. With AF I have to weigh up postage from the old country so sniping and determination is the only method. On a budget that ain't easy and I honestly thought I would never get Dolphin or Moondancer. Most of them are out of budget range so its a massive help from LJ that is just incredible. I'm still flabbergasted.

I couldn't get my Sealions out quick enough. Worst thing is he would have been in the mailbox since Friday and I never knew it. Usually I check when I get home, but the one day I didn't......

Now, to get Moondancer sent to Van Diemens land and sort some CC"s out. Just the odds and sods to do now.
