Figure variants are always a fascinating area to study... especially :AFLogo: & :originalaf: for such a small range which wasn't in production, compered to (say) Star Wars, for very long there's so many to find.

I love researching & finding out more about the history & varied aspects of the toys I collect.

Especially with something like Action-man.. you can learn a lot about military (& social history), not only can you trace the whole toy's history but also learn about the people & world events which helped shape the toy.
More news, as its made, from new Action Force!

An interesting question this, for me I have had high and lows I sometimes get times when I look at what I have done and think I must be mad and feel I should give up, I go quiet and can't be arsed.
But then something happens a great deal or a rare find and I'm up for it again I'm on a great run at the moment and have nabbed some really cool things lately which has given me a boost.

I do it because I can, I love finding stuff doing the deal and the excitement of waiting for it to arrive, the friendships. I've made some great friends over the years and met some really interesting types.

RollOutRollCall the podcast and other projects, researching palitoy talking to ex-employees and learning new bits, expanding your own universe of knowledge on this hobby of ours makes it more than just collecting toys.

The other is to enjoy what you have, I often don't buy anything and cleaning the shelves and rearranging them keeps me busy and I can enjoy each item I own for it's own merits.

The positive and the negative come and go in stages for me, I never regret anything though and I have a desire to complete what I started that's my main driving force.
CIA got you pushing to many pencils.
