So that's 142 of 179 B&W pages finished - making the book 199 of 236 pages finished = 84% done!

Baron, that's SO precise!!!

Love It!

Really looking forward to it.

I'm only just starting to remember how damn good those strips were thanks to this site, waaay better than the Marvel UK material in my view. Ideally I'd want everything. in order, from the beginning right through to the end, but I'll take whatever gets put out! Eagerly awaiting volume one in the post and then the wait for number two begins.

:doc: :doc: :doc:

after the pages come in we have to decide which printer to use

the more expensive one can be ready to go in about a weeks time

the less expensive one can be ready in about 8 weeks tims

Id like to make this as accessible to as many people as possible so going the cheaper route would be better--- but it takes a long time and may not be cheaper for residents living out side the USA

so what I am thinking is doing the hardcover version with the more expensive printer and getting it available asap but doing the soft cover through the cheaper one?

the cheaper one also doesnt actually have a hard cover option available at the moment ( I believe so we may not have a choice there anyway LOL )

I guess the best move is to offer both. The 2nd publisher may be cheaper for US shipping, but probably won't affect worldwide shipping. I know I'd far prefer a hardback edition if possible.

I'd much prefer a hardback edition as well.

It will match up nicely with my volume 1.

Count me in for a copy.....
Admittedly rather late to the party for this, but I had to chip in and say it's all looking and sounding great guys... personally, I'm happy to see some continuity for the covers/spines/hardback situation. As an anally-retentive collector with borderline OCD, not having hardback books that look part of a set sat on a shelf in our dedicated 'geek room' would kill me!
:laser: :laser:

Rest assured I'll be getting a couple of copies when the hardback versions are offered for sale - along with another copy of volume 1. I love all that you guys have done so far, mega congrats.
: )

I've actually designed some spines for indyplanet (Lulu didn't have that option).

You realise that if Volume 2 has the writing on the spine and it sits next to my volume one [which doesn't have writing on the spine] that my OCD is going to be turned up to overdrive and it will bug me big time!

[With phrases like 'bug me big time', I bet my old English teacher would be so proud....]
