Secret Army Builders
Secret Army Builders
Seeing single Red Shads going on Ebay for in excess of a fiver with no weapons and Cobra Troopers going for up to Tenner I'm guessing theres a bit of army building going on out there? Swelling the ranks a bit?

Re: Secret Army Builders
I have 40 Shads now, and I have for about a year or so now. I haven't been searching, and I believe 40 is enough for me

Re: Secret Army Builders
Not counting carded figures my army consists of around 30 Red Shadows, 5 Red Lasers, 2 Red Wolves, 1 Major and 1 Baron. All of them 100% complete.
Neither Krakens, nor Skeletrons as they are bollocks.

Re: Secret Army Builders
I been watching a few things / Customs . prices on AF stuff since we started the whole coloring project thing and I cant help but think all the activity on this site the last 2 years has really had a big part in the increase in pricesThe Baron wrote:um... 72!![]()

Im bias though and could be just seeing things I want to see
Re: Secret Army Builders
It's possible. In 2001 I went on a Battle comic ebay binge, spent a fortune and bought about 500 issues + rare Summer Specials and Annuals, I bid like a lunatic and swapped spares with other buyers, and completed the set in under six months. I was an ebay noob though and would have got them far cheaper these days by sniping.
But for about a year afterwards Battle comics went sky-high, I don't know if the buzz got about that they were selling for high prices or what but it definitely coincided. Obviously I stopped watching them to see if the price ever fell again.
It could also be down to the Devil's Due comics - I have no idea what their readership was but it was probably larger than BFTB.
Ask/blame thedupleman, he's the ebay overlord!

Re: Secret Army Builders
I've got about ten Shads now. I've kinda given up bidding on them because of all of the above reasons. Way too expensive, even when you trry to snipe on them!
When confronted by a difficult problem you can solve it more easily by reducing it to the question. How would the Lone Ranger handle this?
