Ebay seller joe.mob aka French Oscar
Anybody bought Action Force toys off an ebay seller called joe.mob, their shop is called French Oscar?
I only ask because I bought Muton figures off them last week, and now ebay has emailed me to say the listing has been cancelled and the results are now null and void. It tells me not to pay for the item, but trouble is I already have.
I think they're based near Derby, and I think I may have bought from them before with no problem, but now I'm worried I've lost my money.

You've no worries with him, he's a reliable and decent fella.
Bought from him many times in the past both on and off ebay.
He sent me a sealed Z Force Whirlwind last year that had a part [the computer screen] missing. It had probably left the factory that way.
He went to his supplier and got a few more whirlwinds and opened up a sealed one and sent the part on to me.
That was pretty decent of him I thought, so only praise for him from me.

Re: Ebay seller joe.mob aka French Oscar
thanks for that Paul, it makes me feel better.
I'm pretty sure I've bought from them before, only I go thru spells of six months or more with not buying Action Force stuff (this is my first AF spends this year), and so I sometimes get mixed up on whose good and whose not.
Thy're a couple of chaps from Northern Ireland who I've bought joes and AF from before, but I'm jiggered if I can remember which one is which.

Just to say that joe.mob emailed me back to say ebay had suspended him just for someone leaving negative feedback, bit harsh me thinks. Anywho he says my Mutons are going out in the post today hurrah!

Still no sign of these figures, and that not responded to further emails.
Anyone else waiting on stuff from joe.mob aka French Oscar?
I'm also having trouble getting hold of Epic Toys from Rotherham (used to be called Beast Collectors or something), I'm waiting on an Action Force dude from them but getting no joy from emails

Epic were ok with me, she did take a wee bit of time to get them here though!
When confronted by a difficult problem you can solve it more easily by reducing it to the question. How would the Lone Ranger handle this?

Thanks paul463, how long is "a wee bit"? A month? two months? Couple of weeks?paul463 wrote:Epic were ok with me, she did take a wee bit of time to get them here though!
I feel cursed as I've only recently been hunting for Action Force on Ebay for the first time this year (I did get a few figures towrds the end of 2007). I now I'm stuck with 2 sellers who won't respond to emails, and no sign of the plastic people.
I did once have to wait for a parcel that a lady from Liverpool sent me first class no less that took nearly to months to reach me in Crewe back in 2006. 2 months first class Liverpool to Crewe! I mean Crewe's dead near L'pool, even a complete unfit lard arse like me could've walked from Crewe to Liverpool and back in 2 months (well cycled maybe ... )

My dad recently had a letter delayed from Portsmouth to Taunton because there was "insufficient postage paid for airmail".
Re: Ebay seller joe.mob aka French Oscar
If I remember it was just over 2 weeks. However, Royal Mail have been screwing me around a fair bit of late! So the length of time may be acombination of both.
Hope they arrive soon!
