These are really great. I wish I had the ability to do something like that. AF should have had commanders for each unit just like those.

I don't think my wife hates them. but being as she's American she has a habit of referring to them as 'GI Joe dolls'. I think I'm going to have to sit her down with The Baron's excellent AF history section on this site.

I guess the best thing to do is maybe seek out a series 1 or 2 appendage that has no body, and try out some different paints. Perhaps I'll pick up one of the cheaper battered figures from Action-Supplies. Consider him a willing volunteer to Action Force Research and Development.
