But did Munro Deighton ever appear in the comic? In my memory, he appeared just in time to be killed alongside all the the rest of the "British" AF in the GIJoe takeover storyline (in Battle AF), but I can find no evidence to support this and I've decided I must have hallucinated the whole thing ...

Welcome aboard. I agree, the original Action Force were the best in the business - who needs multiple joints anyway!

Brilliant! Not luagghed that hard for a long time.
I was at boarding school with a few kids from service families and there were some who really were kitted out like that running round the woods with sticks.... not me, I had to make do with a DPM "bodywarmer" that probably came from C&A ...
