I loved the toys as a kid (not so much that I have any desire to own them anymore though) but used to adore the comics and I've a huge nerd hard on for British comics ...

That is exactly what I wanted to do, but sadly the system was abused.

Bit of a shame really, because I think an iphone/ipad app may actually do more to combat people nicking scans and flogging them on ebay, especially with the digital comics market moving much more into the portable realm than ...

I wouldn't have a clue if this would be legal, or even viable, but has any thought be considered to creating an iphone/ipad app, or even being part of the ComiXology app?
