A transitional change was made later this year with the introduction of taller cardbacks, moving to a 6x10" format instead of the traditional 6x9", with a differently shaped peg hole. The figures released on these new cardbacks were Falcon, Astro Viper, Big Boa, Cobra Commander, Croc Master, Hydro Viper, Raptor, Road Pig and Techno Viper.
