The world has gone to hell, part of the Barons plot, I guess.

I keep off FB because I can't handle the lefty bent. I only visit as often as my blood pressure will allow. Everyone on FB seems to have a jihad, Paul, you are far to normal. :D
Let me tell you, Gunner La-De-Dah Graham, the British Army can fight anything! Intimate or not!

Thanks I like being normal
When confronted by a difficult problem you can solve it more easily by reducing it to the question. How would the Lone Ranger handle this?

Sorry, just catching up. Ridiculous weren’t it. A lot of people on Facebook seem to have taken the hobby in a direction I don’t connect with. It’s lost it’s friendliness. I also find there’s an arrogance of “you have that, I want it”.

I can’t see what all the tension was about your clearly marked them as repro, I had the flash of you as a shelf filler until I got one to replace it with. I agree with Steve D the must get at any cost and who I step on has become more relevant which heightens the cost for the normal collectors it’s all getting silly

Ďude, we collect toys!
We have a connection to our youth which we grab.
But we aren't normal!!

Normal people don't collect toys.
Don't go on websites about toys.
Don't get WHY we collect these things.

We are the abnormals in a society of norms!

Keep fighting the good fight!

Couldn't agree more Mr D.
Very much like Facebook itself, I feel collecting :AFLogo: has been taken over by people who treat the whole hobby as a "Game Of Life" one upmanship contest for bragging rights where success is measured by who can spend the largest amount of money in to be first across some imaginary finishing line.

I think the last straw for me was being told, quite bluntly, "to read again" (no please) by some guy who was searching of issue 1 of the :maf: comic... simply because I'd commented that I remembered having it as a kid & what a cool poster it came with.

The guy didn't seem to have any reason for wanting the comic other to boast he'd gotten the complete set.. no emotional connection what so ever.
More news, as its made, from new Action Force!
