The toy collectors own area 51.. F team may of been put on ice because they were too sci-fi..? Moving into Star Wars terittory..when Palitoy wanted something different..nothing that would compete head on with it's own biggest seller & still appeal to Action Man /  fans.

An interesting discussion. I think the logic of Babyjelly's first post is rather sound. Perhaps because we are familiar with  when we see 'F' on a sticker we make a connection which isn't there. A logical leap that only can be made with hindsight. And - it has to be said that the truth probably will not be known one way or another.

I'd say both BJ and Andy are right. Special Weapons Force, with the  logo. Much the same as Space Force  . Seems pretty logical to me.
