That Luke Skywalker paratrooper..., does anyone know what bang-hat that is he's wearing? Or is it molded onto his head (ie. a repaint of the Minesweeper's head or similar)? SPACE COMMANDER

Going back a while into this thread, but I've been trying to idnetify the gun. I at first thought it might be from a Series 2 of Battlestar Gallactica figures, where there was a cylon commander, that was generally more shiny than the regular cylons. But all the pics I can find of it still show them with a plain black gun. Also, as the BSG figures were by Mattel I can't see why they would have been used.
It was then that I noticed that the Commando seems to have the same, shiny silver gun on the end of the line in the pictures.
I've still got no suggestions as to the origins of it though, sorry SC!

You've probably guessed I'm toying with the idea of kitbashing a paratrooper together... so I might need an SAS Parachute at some point, although having said that... there are some cheap and cheerful skydiver toys in my local newsagent's that I could scavenge. What do you think? You get two skydivers for £1.50! Bargain! The SAS 'chute looks more sturdy, though.... A bit more substantial! Does anybody recommend the parachute? SPACE COMMANDER
